Hi Seg
Hopefully my booking is confirmed courtesy of Matteywheels, however my kit is German not Alied.
Also i have not been to a ww2 only airsoft event before ,and i wont know anyone at the event, and also
my kit is incomplete,my trousers are modern flecktarn at the moment.
I dont want to offend anyone with incorrect gear but i have to build up my kit over time,
I have an original m42 with blurred edge cover, matching smock ,just arrived, stumgewhere,y straps so far.
Normay i do modern airsoft with my son,you know M4,AK G3 and so on.
Any way let me know what any newcomers may be forgiven kit wise,i don't want to miss out.

As regards the trousers i am 5ft 6in tall and 32 waist,so everything is massive on me,
Spare mp44 mag pouch may help, or i may not need it due to the low ammo limit.
If i can get advice on what to buy on the day i am all ears, then i can build an impression.

I've got some tie leg pea-dot trousers that are about a 34" waist that might be okay with a belt, that you're welcome to borrow if you want. With regard to a spare ammo pouch, the ammo limits are actually quite high for a ww2 game, but since ww2 games are less shooty it's very rare that I would use more than 3 magazines before a reload, so if you already have one pouch you should be okay.

With regard to advice on kit, check out the site kit guides, and if SS is your thing check out the Waffen SS section in General & Specialist Axis Discussion. Best advice is to buy once, don't go for a "make do" as you'll want to change it later for something better. Also go for a more generic impression, that will be better suited to the variety of game scenarios.

Yeah might be able to sort a cap out, won't be SS though, and would be a 58.

Cheers Russell

Hi
Looks like my son George could come,he's 13 but has been going to airsoft for nearly 4 years,he's a crack shot and there has never been
a problem of any kind .Normally he does modern airsoft. I don't what the age policy is.
He could be on the Allied side.

Hi
I am sure george would love to do the Panzer Grenadier
But as the game is seriously short of allies (i will need somebody to shoot at in order the get my full airsoft fix)i was proposing an improvised russian look with steel pot and mauser Gerat06h(sorry german Gun again.)i know russians are not part of the scenario at all but that is the best i can think of,as he was not coming origionaly due to no period kit available, wel apart from rifle and steel helm.
